One of the objectives of CEE Animation is to raise the competencies of professionals and give them equal access to financing and the markets as their Western peers, by fostering co-production and sustainable business models.
CEE Animation Forum 2020 will host the third and final module of the CEE Animation Workshop 2019/2020. For the 2020/2021 edition, one selected producer will receive a full scholarship in the amount of EUR 2,700. The aim of this year-long training is to provide tutoring in the field of content development, starting with consultancy on the script as well as artistic and production consultancy.
European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE), a professional training and networking organization for audiovisual producers has accepted the partnership and will offer to one producer a full scholarship in the amount of EUR 1,400 to participate in EAVE’s Marketing Workshop.
Thanks to the close collaboration with CARTOON, the jury of CEE Animation Forum will appoint:
European Animation Development Lab Animation Sans Frontières (ASF) will grant a full scholarship in the amount of EUR 1,500 to one participant. This 4×2 weeks lecture/workshop-based training programme is designed to give junior European animation film and production professionals an understanding of the European and international animation industry and markets, as well the space, time and tools to develop, finance and produce their own projects, careers and eventually production companies.
To give filmmakers an opportunity to move forward with their projects as well as to enhance their artistic skills and approaches, ANOMALIA will give a scholarship for one of its courses, the Character Design Lab. Since 2008, this professional training in animation has been inviting professionals from major world studios such as Pixar, Disney, Blue Sky, LucasArts, Aardman Animations, VALVE, and others.
The best projects of all four categories will receive financial price awards for further development.
Through the extensive range of direct invitations to pitching events, exchanges of professionals and attractive scholarships, we aim to increase the producers´ knowledge, and give filmmakers the possibility to strengthen their animation skills and integrate them into a strong network.

This award consists of one accreditation to the event, 3 nights´ accommodation for one person, a wild card for one project from APALAB which could be used for workshops or closed masterclass or consultation for the project which could be consulted and pitch to experts.

ADP plan to choose 3 projects of the CEE Animation Workshop to participate in APD 2020.
Additional invitations to CEE Animation Forum 2020 (without any wild cards):
The winning projects from ANIMEST Pitch, please! and AnimatekaPRO Pitch will receive free accreditation (including accommodation for up to 4 days/3 nights) for the upcoming CEE Animation Forum 2020. This invitation does not mean the automatic selection of the project to the pitching competition.
